28th of August: Sold out. Hike with Focus on Cultural History

This is a marvellous hike along the old traffic lead on the roadless side of Åkrafjord. A hike with focus on cultural history, on overgrown paths with lots of highlights along the approximately 6 km long leg on the North side of the Fjord. On the Eintveit farm, there will be an intimate concert with Stanley Jacobsen which will be an amazing closure.

The meeting point is Åkrafjordtun – 15 minutes prior to departure at the latest, for registration and eventual payment. We leave at 11:00 a. m. on board of MS „Stein Viking“ from Teigland terminal for a short crossing of the Fjord towards Kvandal. The hike will stretch along the North side from farm to farm, on approximately 6 km in pathless terrain and on challenging paths.

The duration of the hike is approximately 4 hours. Sturdy shoes and adequate clothing are essential. You will be served homemade sour cream pulp (rømmegraut) and locally produced salt meat when we arrive to the last farm of our hike. A concert with Stanley Jacobsen will be the amazing closure of the day. The return from Eintveit will be at approximately 04:30 p. m

ATTENTION! It is also possible to book the concert only. In this case, departure will be at 02:00 p.m. from Teigland terminal.
