Pedal along the Norwegian Scenic Route Ryfylke

Climb the high mountains and descend to the industrial seaside village of Sauda.

Experience the amazing scenery and history as you go, from start in Røldal to finish in Sauda. Along the way we will learn about the old mining history of Allmannajuvet (opened in 2016). Here we also experience great architecture designed by the world-renowned architect Peter Zumthor and get a taste of the local mining soup.

The ride continues down to Sauda and through “American City”, with insights into Sauda’s transformation from farming village to an industrial village early in the 20th century.

We finish this wonderful trip with a refreshing outdoor bath in water holding 30°C, at the new aquatic centre downtown Sauda.
